About Us Welcome to the Cookie Jar & Company. Our cookies are not made in a factory or by elves, but in our commercial kitchen on our family farm. They are made one batch at a time using the finest quality ingredients but our secret ingredient is the LOVE of making cookies. The idea for The Cookie Jar & Co. originated with Dawn putting her homemade cookies in her kids’ school lunches. One evening at dinner, listening to her kids tell her about their day, one of them let slip that he was able to trade the cookies for his friend’s entire lunch. While initially flattered, Dawn had to explain to her son "You cannot trade your cookies for entire lunches! You can only trade snacks for snacks." Twenty-five years later, Dawn is still baking cookies for lunches, gifts, meetings, parties and weddings. The perfect treat for any reason and occasion. |
