Frequently Asked Questions
- How long will the cookies be fresh?
- To ensure that your cookies are as fresh as possible, all orders are shipped or delivered the same day they are baked. If you don't plan on enjoying them within a day or two, cookies can be placed in a freezer bag and frozen up to 6 weeks. When you want a cookie, let it sit at room temperature for about 3 to 5 minutes or microwave for just a few seconds.
- How do I know my online order was received?
- When your order is placed on the web site, you will receive an email confirmation once your order has been received. If there are any problems with your order, one of our customer service associates will contact you by phone or email.
- When will I receive a tracking number for my order?
- Once your gift has been baked and shipped out, you will receive an email shipping confirmation.
- When will my order arrive?
- When placing your order, you will be asked to request a delivery date. Gifts are delivered via USPS Priority Mail.
- How much time does it take to process an order?
- One day. If you place your order today it will ship out tomorrow. We generally ship Monday through Wednesday to insure delivery before the weekend. Orders received at the end of the work week will be shipped the following Monday. Upon your request, we will make an exception and ship on Thursday if it is to a one day shipping zone; however we must caution you that the package may not arrive by Friday afternoon, and as a result it may sit over the weekend. When in doubt, please call us and we can discuss alternatives. Cookies will be delivered within 30 miles of Coleman, MI Monday – Saturday at no additional charge.
- Why do you not ship on Thursday, Friday or Saturday?
- Our cookies do not contain preservatives so the less time they spend in transit, the fresher they will be upon arrival.
- Why is there an additional charge for shipping outside Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan & Wisconsin?
- Since our cookies are perishable we ship USPS Priority Mail to get your package to any continental state in 2-3 days. The USPS service determines the shipping rate and states outside Michigan’s borders are more expensive to ship to.
- How far in advance can I place my order?
- We recommend placing your order as soon as you can! We will ship your fresh-baked desserts or gifts when you choose, in time for your special occasion or event.
- Do you accept large orders, such as client gifts?
- Absolutely. Of course, we appreciate a little lead time, especially if it's during the holidays. We'd be happy to personalize your packages by including your business card or a note from you.
